Why everyone who says “The Exorcist is lame and has bad effects” can sit the fuck down. THIS KIND OF CAMERA SHOT DID NOT EXIST AT THE TIME THE EXORCIST WAS MADE. The cameraman is in a harness because he is being physically pulled up the stairs so he can get one continuous shot from the front of the characters walking up.

So think about that next time you see some Michael Bay shit with cameras and CGI flying around everywhere.
